FC Windowman 4 - 1 Piddlehinton

Piddle got well beaten by a decent Windowman side who kept their unbeated start to the season in tact. Piddle who were missing key players were never in the game from the off and were always on the back foot and could only try and snatch something on the break which they almost did when Dovell had an open goal 18 yards out but somehow failed to hit the target, his excuse was lack of sleep due to his new born son,who I have no doubt would have scored himself!! Piddle then found themselves behind after Rose failed to deal with a long ball and the Windowman foward stole in to scre. Piddle did have a few half chances but Windowman scored again.

Piddle did strike back with jeanes slotting home a one on one after a defensive error. 2-1 at half time, which after consulting a Guinness book of records judge, i have found it to be a new world record for a team being 2-1 down at half time the most consecutive times in a season. Players will receive their offical certificate in the post within 10 working days.

The second half was a dour affair with Windowman adding 2 more goals and Piddle creating nothing of note. Piddle need to pull themselves together for next weeks long away trip to the Costa Swanage. The flight leaves Hurn Airport at 10:00am gmt on Sat. Players are advised to check if their passports are valid!!
